DetailsThis Gorgeous 19th Century Antique Maple Mortar and Pestle would be such a great addition to your farmhouse kitchen! It has a warm brown dry attic patina which can only be achieved through age and use- the pestle and mortar appear to be mates as the patina and wood match- the maple wood is dense with a beautiful hand turned sheen. The mortar is 7.25" tall with a 5.25" diameter; the pestle is 9.5" in length. There are a few minor beautiful TIGHT age cracks- Discovered when left in a home in Errol, New Hampshire by the new owners in 1955- A truly gorgeous piece of stunning Americana!
