    This is a very nice historical Vermont plate to add to your collection! The True & Blanchard Company which operated in Newport, Vermont, from 1844, when William W. True started a tin shop, growing into a significant hardware and maple sugaring equipment supplier, with the business sold in 1919 to the Vermont Farm Medicine Company, though the name persisted. Key milestones include E.C. Blanchard joining in 1886, the start of their own Monarch evaporator manufacturing in 1893, and J.R. Akin becoming a partner in 1894, with the company becoming a major local hardware business for over 75 years.
    The plate measures 9.25" in diameter with no chips, cracks, or discoloration. It features
    illustrations of Memphremagog Yacht Club House, the Boundary Line between Canada and Vermont (fence of timber), Newport and Lake Memphremagog, Lake Memphremagog, and Owl's Head and Round Head Memphremagog
