DetailsThis Set of 8 Gold Gilt Ch. Field Haviland Limoges Shell and Seaweed Plates- CFH/GDM- are not perfect- but what a wall display they would make!!! Gorgeously decorated and handpainted in the 1890’s with gold gilt upon an ivory background- truly stunning. Each plate measures 9.25” in diameter and has age old wear (please see our photos) with some chipping and rubbing. Please message us if you have any questions- Thanks for looking!

CFH GDM (Charles Field Haviland—Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel) operated as a prominent Limoges porcelain manufacturer in France roughly between 1882 and 1900, with specific partnership branding active around 1891–1898. They produced high-quality, hand-painted whiteware, transitioning to GDA (Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbott) after 1900, While Charles Field Haviland was active earlier, the specific "CFH/GDM" mark is generally associated with the 1890s.
The firm became E. Gerard et Dufraisseix in 1895, though they continued using the GDM mark on some wares until 1898 -
