DetailsFondue....mmmmm...cheesy heaven on earth to be shared with friends and family! Our Midcentury Enamelware Fondue Set would be perfect to have on hand for the holidays! It is in very good condition with a base plate, a burner, the pot (with the lid), and 6 color coded (metal- not plastic) stainless steel fondue forks. The pot is 5.5" in diameter x 6.5" tall with the lid (not including the stand) and holds 6 cups of deliciousness. There are no chips or dents.
We LOVED making fondue in our catering business...and it was so easy!
Just add 1 cup of dry white wine to the pot, 2 Tbs. flour, and a pinch of nutmeg- heat up and stir and then add 1 pound of shredded cheese (a combination of gruyere and Swiss works great served with a crusty baguette; or cheddar and gouda served with crisp tart apples.....yum!!!).....stir until the cheese is melted and gooey.....oooorrrrr you can put a bit of oil in the pot and shish some fresh shrimp or beef tenderloin....the options are endless with this party pot!
