DetailsThis Fantastic Antique HGW and Wheat Rectangular Butter Stamp/Press would be a great addition to your antique butter press collection! It is very well carved and detailed- the bundle of wheat as well as the “HGW” monogram are surrounded by a gorgeous carved border. The most interesting aspect of this mold is that the wooden square that houses the stamp is carved from a single piece of maple; the square’s cap is slightly warped and is fastened with tiny screws (two are missing- please see our photos). It is 6”x 3.25” with a plunger handle that is 8.5” long. The dry attic surface and rich brown patina are wonderful. Please message us if you have any questions- Thanks for looking!
