DetailsThis Antique Cast Iron #8 Chicken Fryer with Matching Lid would be a lovely addition to your kitchen! The iron is seasoned and ready to be used- this actual fryer was used in our kitchen to cook chicken and pot roast- we also baked bread in it(perfectly baked with a wonderful crisp and buttery crust and a soft moist center). It is approximately 10.5" in diameter x 6" tall with the lid; the handle extends 4.5" from the pot. It is marked 8 CF D on the base. The lid can be inverted to sit on the pot for easy storage.
