  • Details
This Great 19th Century Hand-carved Wooden Duck Decoy in Old Paint would be stunning displayed in any decor- whether is be modern or country! He is 15" in length from the tip of his bill to his tail x 7.25”tall x 5"wide. He has a great look with wear in all the right places. The glass eyes with a wonderful dark brown body and black wing tips are stunning- the decoy appears to be composed of three pieces of hand carved wood; a bottom section below the wings and tail, a mid section, and a neck/head section. There is a large old chip to the side of the bill and beneath the tail which can be seen in our photos. He is joined together with old nails (please see our photos); the base is original and painted with old gray. This is a wonderful folky decoy- sure to be a focal point of any room! Please message us if you have any questions- Thanks for looking!
