DetailsThis Great 19th c. #1 Universal Galvanized Landers Frary and Clark Dough/Cake Mixer is in outrageously amazing condition! Patented in 1896 through 1905 and made in New Britain, Connecticut- this hand cranked mixer made making cakes so much easier! The ingredients would be added to the pan, the beater would be cranked to mix everything together, the crank was then taken out of the pan, and then the cake would be baked in the oven (in the same pan).
The pan is 4.5" tall x 9.5” in diameter (10.75" tall with the turning handle); it has the whisk attachment as well as the dough hook AND retains its original lid which is amazing (they are usually misplaced). It also has the clamp that attaches to a table to secure it. This mixer is in excellent condition- the gears work flawlessly and the patina is perfect- no dents or rust (it looks as if it has never been used- it is a museum quality piece of American baking history).
